Have you tried MUR?

Asheville Beer

Boojum Brewing Company is a small craft brewery in the mountains of Waynesville, NC. This week our featured beer is hot off their new canning line. Perhaps you've heard of the brewery but haven't been able to stop in for a pint. Now you can try their new seasonal beer, Mur. After a little digging, I discovered that "mur" is French for "ripe," as in ripe fruit. In any case, this raspberry Saison is the perfect beer to enjoy after the long winter is past and springtime is finally here!

Mur looks stunning with ruby red highlights. It's not one of those thick wintry beers! Light and refreshing is the name of its game. With an abundant amount of raspberry flavor coming through on the nose it begs you to drink it. And your taste buds will not be let down! Let's face it: we've all had that beer where you couldn't really taste what the label said was supposed to be in there. This beer isn't like that. It's not a "hint of raspberry" beer. Instead, the raspberry comes through with just the right balance, definitely there but not overpowering. Mur finishes with a slightly salty taste, leaving you wanting just one more.

Mur was previously available only on tap, but now it's in a can and much more accessible. I recommend getting this seasonal Saison while it's still ripe (mur) off the vines!
